So, I'm wondering something about the family of Lily/Rufus, Serena, Dan, Eric, Jenny, and Chuck on Gossip Girl. We all know that Lily/Bart, Serena, Eric, Chuck is Van Der Bass, so what do we call this new one? Van Der Bass Hump? Van Der Bump? Van Der Bumphrey? Or is there something even better that I'm not thinking of?

Yes, this entry is kind of pointless, but I'm curious.

Is there something about the name Rebecca that seems calm and comforting, because people seem to think it's a good name for counselors. Not only is it the name of the guidance counselor in Veronica Mars (Rebecca James), but I just read two fics with counselors in them named Rebecca.

It's not like it's particularly un-counselor-y, but I just don't get it. Is there a reason for this? *sigh* The world may never know.

Last week I got some kind of hardware problem on my laptop. Luckily it was under warranty and it was easy to fix, but it took a WEEK, which I know doesn't seem like much, but when you have to live it, it is. God, I'm such an addict.
