Yes, I'm aware that there are quite a few typos on the pictures, but let's just ignore them, shall we? Anyway, enjoy, and comment. I'd love to hear which scenes are your favorites.
in chronological order.
/the smirk, 1x01/ "or ravish me, I'm sure", 1x06/
/"probably, but i choose you", 1x12/"you can't be touching me, 1x13/
/"we're inevitable, waldorf" 2x07/"while there are few things i consider sacred..." 2x09/
/"ill always be here" 2x14/"oops" "hmm" 2x22/
This scene is just... guh, I don't know. After the constant competition and angst of their previous storyline, the easiness of this scene is great. This is what they would undoubtedly do in real life if the writers didn't have to create ~drama~. And it kind of kills me to think that everything would have been alright if Bart hadn't gotten in that car accident.
It's short, it's sweet, but it says a million things. This is the point in the second season that you realize that neither of them are even trying to hide their feelings anymore. Despite all the people they're using it's just "Goodnight Chuck, goodnight Blair" and you know they couldn't be more perfect for each other.
Aside from the HOTNESS, this is so "aww, Chuck", because he does want to be her boyfriend and hold her hand and go to the movies with her.
HOT. They tease us with the possibility of angry wall-sex, but alas, it doesn't happen. Still, the scene is powerful and the way she throws her hands up and sort of swaggers out is amazing. As a side note, how much do I love that she's all red lipstick and black and white in this ep, and then all pink and pastel-y in the next one, depending on who she's trying to pretend she is.
Classic CB banter. How can you not love it? It's all quippy and sarcastic and, oh my god, he so adores her, and this just reminds me how much I miss their season one dynamic. <3
Friends! They are such adorable friends and scheming doesn't get any hotter than this. Seriously, screw Bass, inc. Join the freaking CIA, Chuckles. You would own it.
Awww. Over the summer my obsession with Gossip Girl had kind of boiled down, but this scene brought it right back up and I fell completely and utterly in love with them, again. It's just the definition of heartbreaking, and I just want to yell at them to shut-up, because they both so obviously love each other.
Okay, I wanted to do this as two separate scenes, but "Top 21 Chuck/Blair Scenes" doesn't sound as good as my actual title, so I combined them. I know, I know, you probably think they don't deserve to be lumped together, but in my mind, they are the same thing. The turning point in their relationship wasn't when she danced for him on stage, or when they first had sex in the limo, it was the combination of the both. Therefore, this counts as one scene.
This another one of the 'die of the cuteness' scenes. He's just so... and she's just so... and it's all just so heartfelt and sweet and awwww. This makes me wonder how they can have moments like this and still be so angsty all the time.
I think this scene gets so, so overlooked and I've got no idea why. In my opinion, it's the scene that shows their friendship best. It's not just scheming together and pervy comments, it's a shared reliance, because they can count on each other like they can on no one else and they don't even realize it. They're just a story waiting to happen, sparks waiting to fly, and it's wonderful. As much as I love the in love and in denial CB, I wish we could've gotten more friendship scenes.
That sound you just heard? That was my heart breaking. This scene is just... why? Why can't they just be happy. But it's from the heart and they really think that they can't work and it's truly sad. This shows you that all the games and the sex is just a cover so they can pretend that they don't feel the way they do and it's... sad.
Consider my heart broken in fourths, because this is just as tear-inducing. It wouldn't be quite as heart-wrenching as it was if we didn't all know he was lying. She knows it, too, and they're just big stupid idiots for being all sad when they could just clear it all up with a few simple words.
This is a classic. This is the scene where I finally released the breath I'd been holding since 1x13 and smiled. Because it's sweet and heartfelt but so far from mushy or cheesy. That's something the first season was extremely good at. I just want to hug them and jump up and down, because awww. Too bad it doesn't last long.
Can I say hot? Hello, up close and personal striptease, it's nice to meet you. This scene is so sexy and yet simultaneously soul crushing. And, having seen the spoiler pics, I knew he would say it in the green jacket scene, and it broke my heart even more knowing he wouldn't say it in this one.
THIS SCENE. I remember, this is the exact moment I fell in love with them together. I watched the whole first season in about two days, one episode after the other, so I didn't really have time to sit around and consider them after 1x07. But in this scene, it hit me, I LOVED them.
Adorable. That's just what it is, it's great and hilarious because, obviously, they want to hold hands and go to the movies, and yet they won't let themselves. And I just want to yell at them to just do it already.
This scene is so, so close to my heart, because, it brought all my hope for CB back instantly. It would just be banter, and therefore rate lower on the list, if it wasn't for the little smile Blair gets after she kicks him out and then it's obvious she loves him back.
This scene is just happy, joyful scream-inducing. It's pretty cheesy and perfect, and I think that's the point. For all their angst and problems, they can just be happy with three four, actually, words. Also, there's the FINALLY part of it. Because we'd been waiting all season for this and even being told it would happen wasn't enough. Unlike last season, we're left with a happy ending.
I can't really describe this scene. It's just mind-blowing how they go from light banter over at tea, to miserable misery. Not to mention, it's absolutely gorgeous. The trees and the colors and the coordinated outfits. Just like the "I love you" scene is a parallel to "three words, eight letters" this scene, I think, is a parallel to the "because I love her" scene, with Blair doing the lying this time. It seems like they come so far from where they are in this episode, but really they're still caught in the same place all season and I think the mood of it all is established by this one scene. It's beautiful.
This is just... breathtaking. It's times like this when I can't imagine how anyone can't be completely in love with them. There are no two people in the show who love and understand and need each other more (SB excluded, okay). They don't need to speak a single word, it's just the look and his face that tells her that he needs her more than anything, and the way she grabs him and wraps her arms around him that tells him it's okay and that she forgives him. It's amazing and it's what makes them them.
